This policy explains what personal information Kettle Coaching collects, why it is collected, and what your rights are. It covers both this website and personal training services provided by Lukas Kettle.
Kettle Coaching is a personal training business run by Lukas Kettle, operating in Lymington, New Milton and the wider New Forest. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact:
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social media pixels. Nothing is stored on your device and no profile is built about you when you browse it.
The site is hosted by Netlify, which automatically records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. This is normal server logging, used to keep the site running and secure. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives a request from your browser when the page loads.
The site links out to WhatsApp, the phone dialler, Google Maps, Instagram and the Verity Fitness booking system. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's service, covered by their privacy policy rather than this one.
If you contact Kettle Coaching by WhatsApp, phone or email, the information you send is collected — typically your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us about your goals and circumstances.
If you go on to train with Kettle Coaching, more detailed information is collected during the initial consultation and as training continues. This normally includes:
Health information is treated as a special category of personal data under UK data protection law, and is handled with extra care. It is collected for one reason only: so that training can be delivered safely and adapted to you. It is used on the basis of your explicit consent, given at consultation, and you may withdraw that consent at any time — though doing so may mean training cannot safely continue.
Health information is never shared with anyone else without your permission, except where there is an immediate risk to your safety, or where the law requires it.
Your data is never sold, and it is not used for marketing unless you have asked to receive it.
A small number of third-party services are used to run the business. Each holds only what it needs:
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that is the case, they operate under safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
Enquiries that do not lead to training are deleted within about twelve months. Client records are kept for the duration of training and for up to six years afterwards, which is the period financial records must be retained and the period within which a claim could be brought. Health information is deleted sooner on request, once training has ended.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these, just get in touch using the contact details above. There is no charge, and you will receive a response within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
